MIND, the Dutch Association of Mental Health and Addiction Care, the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists and the Netherlands Psychiatric Association join forces for a mentally healthier 2035

In a cooperative move towards enhancing mental health across Europe, a delegation led by the Dutch Association of Mental Health and Addiction Care (de Nederlandse ggz) recently convened in Brussels with key European stakeholders. The delegation included representatives from MIND, the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists (NIP), and the Netherlands Psychiatric Association (NVvP). Their collective aim is to foster a mentally healthier society by 2035.

During their visit, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions with members of the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA) and the European Psychiatric Association (EPA).

This initiative underscores the pressing need to address mental health challenges proactively. By uniting their efforts, these organizations aim to create a comprehensive working agenda, develop practical themes, and strengthen cooperation with other parties involved in supporting mental health.

This collaborative effort marks a pivotal step in addressing mental health issues at both national and European levels, aiming for a mentally healthier future by 2035.
