Exploring synergies between psychology and technology

In November 2024, the Slovenian Psychologists’ Association hosted a meeting of the Standing Committee on Psychology in Health (SC Health) in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in conjunction with the national conference Psychologists' Days.

The first day commenced with a morning SC Health working meeting that discussed updates from various working groups, including advancements in SC deliverables, innovative prevention toolkits, mental health apps, and insights into the economics of mental health.

The afternoon featured a practical workshop led by Tom van Daele, offering hands-on training in the application of immersive technologies in psychological practice.

The second day focused on transformative approaches to mental health promotion and prevention, with keynote sessions addressing digital transformation and diverse, cutting-edge mental health interventions.

The event concluded with presentations on local mental health prevention and promotion initiatives.

The conference served as a critical platform for knowledge sharing and advancing mental health practices.
