EFPA attends European Pain Federation Congress, Lyon
April 2025— The 14th Congress of the European Pain Federation EFIC was held in Lyon, France. EFPA was invited to attend to explore ways that European psychology can contribute to the necessity of taking an interdisciplinary focus to the topic of pain.
The Congress included lectures, workshops and symposia and networking initiatives on pain-related domains– from basic research to daily clinical practice.
EFPA and the European Pain Federation EFIC explored ways to prioritise interdisciplinary collaboration on this topic that, and will continue to work on drawing in the various forms of specialism within psychology to support efforts in this area.
