Beyond Boundaries: A Global Continuum for healthy generations joint statement endorsed by EFPA

This joint statement emphasise the importance of active lifestyles in terms of the associated benefits on physical and mental health. It highlights four principles, relating to creating more active: societies, environments, people and systems.

In endorsing the work of this thematic network, EFPA notes both the importance of physical activity but also the importance of society-wide initiatives that are supported by healthcare systems but based and practiced within local communities.

This aligns with EFPA's advocacy around mental health, which highlights seven topics of importance relating to mental health commitment; societal crises response; community-oriented services; the workplace; climate change; training standards and regulation; and equality of access including the consideration of digitalisation.
