Prof. dr. Robert Roe will be visiting Leipzig University as Leibniz-Professor

EFPA President appointed in Leipzig, cradle of global psychology. The University of Leipzig (Germany), home to the world’s first psychological laboratory, established by Wilhelm Wundt in 1879, has appointed EFPA President Professor Robert Roe as guest professor for the Winter Semester 2013-14.

Occupying the university’s special Leibniz chair, named after the famous philosopher, mathematician and diplomat Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646-1716), Prof. Roe will conduct historical and methodological research on time and the temporal dynamic of human behavior. In his inaugural address on November 28, 2013 he will pay tribute to Wilhelm Wundt and sketch his immense influence on global scientific psychology.
