Manuscript submission book Sport Psychology: On the Way to the Olympic Games

The Russian Psychological Society in cooperation with Lomonosov Moscow State University is proud to present an upcoming book “Sport Psychology: On the Way to the Olympic Games”(co-editors Prof. Yuri Zinchenko (Russia), Prof. Juri Hanin (Finland).

Dear colleagues,

This collection of articles will represent the latest achievements of sport psychology that are to be considered when working with professional athletes. Among the contributors of the book are leading experts in the field of sport psychology (Robert Eklund, Deborag Feltz, Adam Nicholls, Al Petitpas and other honorable experts).

The book is being prepared in anticipation of Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games with its main purpose to bring the latest advancements in international sport psychology together in one volume, to be an up-to-date resource for education of young professionals in sport psychology. The book will be published by MSU Press in both English and Russian and will be sent out to all psychology departments in Russian universities and abroad upon request free of charge.

The articles are monographs of both theoretical and applied nature. The length of an article is up to 5000 words.

The book is ready for publication. However, aspiring to make a contribution to the work of Task Force of Sport Psychology of EFPA, the Russian Psychological Society has decided to extend the deadline for manuscript submission for authors from Task Force of Sport Psychology of EFPA member countries. Manuscripts are to be sent to until May 18. 2012.
